What is SELF?

SELF is an online video course that teaches you how to spray tan yourself at home using a spray tanning gun. It was created by Karina from Personal Tanner in Brisbane, Australia.

Can you spray tan your own back?

Yes. SELF includes a back tutorial showing how to hold your gun, position your body and move your arms to reach your back. You can pause and replay the demonstration as you practise.

Is SELF suitable for beginners?

Yes. The course starts with three gun holds—the regular hold, outside hold and inside hold—before moving through individual body areas. Start with a low flow and practise the movements at your own pace.

What does the course cover?

The videos cover gun control, body positioning and application techniques for your legs, tummy, under your breasts, arms, décolletage, armpits, feet, neck, hands and back.

How much does SELF cost?

SELF costs $49.95 AUD as a one-off payment. There are no recurring subscription payments.

How long can I access the videos?

You receive six months of access starting immediately after purchase. You can watch the videos as many times as you like during that period.

Does the course include a tanning gun or solution?

This purchase is for digital course access only. A tanning gun, tanning solution and accessories are purchased separately.

Is this professional spray tan certification?

No. SELF teaches personal self spray tanning at home. It is not a professional qualification or accreditation.
