There are tanning brands that are good, and then there are tanning brands that make you go,
“Yep… this one is staying.”
For me, Sunescape is one of those brands.
At Personal Tanner in Brisbane, I work with products very carefully. I test them, wear them, watch how they develop, see how they fade, and most importantly, I see how they behave on real skin, real clients, and real lives. And when it comes to both professional spray tanning products and retail tanning aftercare, Sunescape is a brand I genuinely love.
My favourite professional Sunescape tanning solution: Santorini
If I had to talk about my most-loved professional Sunescape tanning product, it would be Sunescape Santorini.
Santorini is the Ultra Dark 16% DHA solution, and honestly, it is an absolute goodie.
What makes it so special is that it has this beautiful power of working across so many different skin tones and skin types. That is not always easy in the tanning world. Some solutions can look incredible on one person and not quite right on another. But Santorini has that magic about it. It sits beautifully, develops well, and gives a rich, gorgeous result with confidence.
It is one of those professional spray tan solutions that makes life easier for the tanner too.
If you are a spray tan artist, a salon owner, or you run a tanning studio, this is a must-have product in your professional lineup. If you have clients who are tricky to tan, who have had tanning issues before, or who just need something reliable and beautiful, Santorini is one of those no-going-wrong products.
And that matters.
Because sometimes in a tanning salon, you do not want to play guessing games. You want a professional product that performs, behaves, develops beautifully, and gives your client that “I feel amazing” glow.
That is exactly why Sunescape Santorini has such a special place in my tanning heart.
If you are a client, Sunescape is a brand worth sticking to
If you are a client and you love trying different tanning brands, that is completely fair. It is always fun to test new things and see what is out there.
But sometimes, you find a brand that simply works.
And Sunescape is one of those brands.
If you are using Sunescape and loving your results, there is absolutely nothing wrong with sticking to what works for your skin. In fact, that is often the smartest thing you can do. Consistency in your tan care can make a huge difference in how your tan develops, how long it lasts, and how it fades.
If you are someone who has had problems with your tan — maybe it goes patchy, does not go dark enough, fades too quickly, or just never seems to behave — have a look at my Systems page.
That is exactly why I created it.
At Personal Tanner, the Systems are there to help with real tanning concerns like:
patchy spray tans
tan not lasting long
tan not developing dark enough
weekly tanning support
event-ready tanning care
So if your fake tan has been giving you attitude, there is help for that.
Sunescape retail products: chic, beautiful, and seriously good quality
Now let’s talk about the Sunescape retail range, because it is beautiful.
The whole range feels a bit more chic, a bit more first class, a bit more polished. But not in a scary way. In a “your bathroom suddenly feels fancier” kind of way.
And the thing I really love about Sunescape is this:
the quality is there across everything.
You can feel it. You can see it. And you can tell it has been made with care.
If I had to pick my favourite Sunescape retail product, it would be the Sunescape Body Butter.
I truly adore it.
This body butter hydrates the skin like nothing else. Straight away, your skin looks healthier, smoother, happier, and more alive. It is one of those products that makes you apply it and instantly think,
“Ohhh yes. That’s better.”
And when it comes to spray tan aftercare, hydration is everything.
A tan that is not supported with proper moisture will usually tell on you very quickly. Dry skin can lead to uneven fade, patchiness, cracking, and that tired fake tan look nobody wants.
So if you want your tan to stay looking fresh, smooth, and expensive, the Sunescape Body Butter is a beautiful choice.
Another big favourite of mine is the Sunescape Exfoliating Mitt.
This one is a proper must-have.
And I do not say that lightly, because I have tried plenty of mitts over the years. Some fall apart quickly. Some barely remove dead skin. Some just annoy me. And in the world of spray tan preparation, that is not helpful at all.
A good exfoliating mitt for fake tan prep should actually do its job. It should remove old skin properly, help prep the body evenly, and last long enough that you do not feel like you are replacing it every five minutes.
The Sunescape Exfoliating Mitt does exactly that.
It works well, it lasts, and it helps prep the skin properly for a better tanning result.
So yes, in very simple terms:
Get it now.
Sunescape Gradual Tan: oil or lotion?
I also love the Sunescape Gradual Tan range, but this is where personal preference comes in a little.
The Sunescape Gradual Tan Oil is gorgeous. But yes — it is an oil. And oily products are not for everybody.
Some people love that rich, glowy, silky finish. Others want hydration and colour but without that oil feel on the skin.
If you are not an oil person, go straight for the Sunescape Tan Extender Lotion.
It is beautiful.
It gives a lovely colour, it is dark enough that you can actually notice it, and usually one application is enough to start seeing a glow. It also wears well and supports your tan beautifully, which makes it a fantastic product for people wanting to extend their spray tan or keep their skin glowing in between tans.
So really, it comes down to what your skin likes and what you like applying.
Love oils? The Sunescape Gradual Tan Oil can be gorgeous.
Prefer a creamier feel? The Sunescape Tan Extender Lotion is a winner.
The travel sizes are genius
One thing I really love is that Sunescape offers travel sizes in some of their best products.
The 50mL Sunescape Body Butter and 50mL Sunescape Gradual Tan are brilliant.
They are perfect for travel, and I say that from real-life experience.
I took them with me on my very long trip from Australia to Brazil, and let me tell you — plane skin is not cute. The air feels so dry, your skin starts acting tired, and everything needs hydration immediately.
Having those little travel sizes with me was so good. They fit easily in my bag and made it simple to keep my skin comfortable, hydrated, and glowing while travelling.
So if you travel a lot, go on holidays, or just like having a smaller size in your bag, these are such a smart buy.
Why I trust Sunescape at Personal Tanner
At the end of the day, I love Sunescape because it brings together what I care about most:
beautiful results, quality products, and reliable performance.
As a tanning professional, I do not just want products that sound nice. I want products that actually do what they say. I want products that help my clients feel confident, looked after, and happy in their skin.
That is what Sunescape gives me.
From professional spray tan solutions like Santorini Ultra Dark 16% DHA, to beautiful retail aftercare products like the Sunescape Body Butter, Exfoliating Mitt, and Tan Extender Lotion, this is a brand that earns its place.
And I am all for that.
Because at Personal Tanner, I truly love making people happy.
I believe we all need a little love, a little care, and honestly… sometimes a little tan helps too.
